I've heard many times from people that Organic Fruits and vegetables contain no more nutrients than conventionally grown food. This is true. In fact, Stanford ran a huge study and proved this. However, these people are missing the point. Organics was never about the vitamins or nutrients. It's about the PESTICIDES. The use of conventional growing methods is a fast path to the total bombardment of hazardous chemicals in the body. These pesticides disrupt normal immune function, sexual reproductive organs, nerve function, hormone production and much more. Eating organic is just as cheap as buying conventional. Utilize farmers markets and buy foods that are seasonal. This will keep organic food prices low. And the more we buy together, the cheaper it will be later.
